Internship or Master’s thesis position at Fraunhofer IGB in Stuttgart. Tasks include modeling and balancing a real wastewater treatment plant, largely autonomous onboarding to a prescribed simulation program, identifying operating points and scenarios, deriving optimization measures to increase energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, deriving the kinetic equations for additional steps, incorporating real measurement data into a time-dependent process control, and preparing results for an interdisciplinary scientific audience. The position is part-time with compensation according to the Gesamtbetriebsvereinbarung; planned start 01.03.2027.
