Process Control Engineering Intern at Cleveland-Cliffs in New Carlisle, IN. Responsibilities include software development across programming languages and hardware platforms; maintenance of computer hardware and software; maintenance and problem solving of automation systems; modifications to automation for new products and processes; process modeling for mill processes; OS and relational database administration; working with vision systems, thermal imaging, RFID/barcode reading, X-ray and other gauging systems; networking and data transmission; coordinating with production, R&D, and vendors. Minimum qualifications: enrollment in a BS program in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical degree; completion of sophomore year by summer 2027; must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
