Austin Public Health is recruiting for a range of public health positions, including temporary, general and grant-funded roles, and internship opportunities across multiple programs in Austin and Travis County. Opportunities may span Administrative Support Services, Community Services, Disease Prevention Health Promotion, Environmental Health Services, Epidemiology and Public Health Emergency Preparedness, Health Equity and Community Engagement, Office of the Medical Director, and Policy, Planning & Research. Positions may be full-time or part-time, temporary or seasonal, and may be paid or unpaid internships; grant-funded positions may be modified, reduced, or canceled at the discretion of the City of Austin or grant provider. On-site locations in Austin and across Travis County with typical hours Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional evenings/weekends during emergencies.
