Summer 2027 engineering undergraduate internship (FORGE) with Penn State's Applied Research Laboratory (ARL). Aimed at rising seniors (graduating May 2028) for potential full-time employment at ARL in national security research. Typical duties include engineering testing, data analysis and display, hands-on lab work, use of multiple computing languages, analysis tools, simulations, and measurements; networking with program sponsors. Disciplines encouraged include Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Information Science and Technology, and Computer Science. Must be a rising senior, U.S. citizen, and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen; government security investigation possible. Working location is fully on-site in State College, PA.
