The Times is launching a one-year Local Investigative Fellowship for reporters in local newsrooms or freelancers. Fellows will investigate a beat in their state or region, based in their reporting communities, and travel periodically to The Times offices for training and support, under the guidance of senior editors. Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of professional reporting experience and be willing to take a yearlong sabbatical.
