Research Assistant - Co-ordinator (DRNS)

Location: Edinburgh - Central Area, Midlothian, United Kingdom Department: Academic

Grade UE06: £34,610 to £39,906 per annum; pro rata

College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences / School of Health in Social Science / Counselling, Psychotherapy and Applied Social Sciences

Part time: 10.5 hours per week (0.3FTE)

Fixed term: until 31 July 2027 (Position is available from 28th September 2026)

The Opportunity:

This is a Research Co-ordinator post with the main responsibility being developing and running seminars and knowledge exchange/research collaboration events, and an annual conference.

Your skills and attributes for success:

Good knowledge of the drug research community in Scotland

Ability to design, organised and deliver knowledge exchange events in a range of environments.

Experience of working with drug policy stakeholders (including those with lived and living experience of drug use).

This post is advertised as fixed term part time, 1.5 days a week (0.3FTE) role until July 2027.  We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
