Remote research internship (Fall/Winter 2026) at Cohere, Canada-based remote. Full-time 4-6 months. Open to PhD candidates in ML/NLP or related fields (exceptional non-PhD candidates considered). Work on cutting-edge language modeling and related research areas (base model training, retrieval augmented generation, data/evaluation, safety, finetuning) with opportunities to publish and contribute to production systems. Remote-friendly with offices in Toronto, New York, San Francisco, London and Paris, plus a co-working stipend; must be eligible to work in the country of employment.
