Research Scientist / Research Fellow to join NTU's fiber optics team focusing on developing next-generation high-power fiber beam combiners. Responsibilities include modeling and simulation (M&S) tool development using Beam Propagation Method (BPM) software (e.g., BeamProp) and FEM software (e.g., COMSOL) for thermal analysis, establishing diagnostic and characterization tools, and collaborative validation with fabrication; requires PhD in Physics, Optical/Electrical Engineering or related field and at least 4 years' hands-on optics lab experience.
