Part-time Respiratory Therapy student extern position at Saint Joseph Mercy Health System Hospital Campus, Ann Arbor, MI. Requires completion of either first year of an accredited RT program in good standing or completion of a paramedic or EMT program; BCLS certification; six months of RT experience preferred. Responsibilities include administering nasal oxygen and nebulized medications, non-invasive ventilation (e.g., BIPAP/CPAP) as prescribed, patient monitoring, and related duties under supervision; eligible to participate in code blue response, patient transports, and documentation in the EMR.
