Meijer’s Store Leadership Internship is an 11-week program for students designed to build retail knowledge and expose participants to store leadership opportunities. It includes weekly pay, scheduling flexibility, paid education assistance, and development/training opportunities, with interaction with other interns and Meijer senior leaders. The internship begins with a foundation of retail knowledge and leadership competencies, and in the second half, interns serve as Intern Team Leaders responsible for business results, team member engagement, and customer experience, with a flexible schedule that may include some nights and weekends. Conversion to a full-time team member following the internship will be based on interest, performance, and leadership potential, with pathways toward store leadership roles.
