RN New Grad - Residency for Select Units at Ochsner Health. Requires graduate of an accredited nursing program; current RN license in state of practice; and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Responsible for leading patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and standards; delegates and assists licensed and ancillary team members; ensures quality patient outcomes; and maintains cultural sensitivity. Education: Required — graduate of an accredited nursing program; Preferred — BSN. Work Experience: None required. Duties include delivering nursing care, assessing learning needs and teaching strategies, delegating and managing nursing team resources, using data to evaluate and promote change, and adapting to diverse patient populations.
