As an Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Intern, you will spend three months gaining hands-on experience while supporting meaningful work at Associated Electric Cooperative’s Dell Power Plant. This paid summer internship offers exposure to environmental compliance or workplace safety—depending on your degree program—while you learn from experienced professionals and see how EH&S supports safe, responsible, and reliable power generation.

What You’ll Do Support environmental monitoring, data collection, and compliance activities involving air, water, and waste.

Assist with workplace safety inspections, audits, training, and other initiatives that help protect employees and plant operations.

Collaborate with plant professionals and contribute to projects that support continuous improvement, environmental stewardship, and a strong safety culture.

What You’ll Need Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.

Ability to commit to a three-month summer internship.
