Sales Intern

Location: Qingdao, China Department: Sales and BD

Main Responsibilities

Commercial & Business Support

Support the Business Assurance team in day-to-day commercial and operational activities.

Assist in preparing customer presentations, business reports, and internal documentation.

Conduct market and industry research to support business development initiatives.

Maintain customer and project information in internal systems.

Assist in organizing customer meetings, webinars, and marketing activities.

Support data analysis, reporting, and business performance tracking.

Customer Service Support

Handle customer inquiries and provide administrative support throughout the certification process.

Assist customers in using DNV digital platforms, customer portals, and online customer services.

Support customer account registration, access requests, and basic portal navigation guidance.

Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate customer requests and resolve service-related issues.

Monitor customer cases and support timely follow-up and communication.

Assist customers with certification-related administrative processes and documentation requirements.

Contribute to delivering a positive, professional, and consistent customer experience.

Administrative & Operational Support

Prepare meeting minutes, reports, and presentation materials.

Maintain accurate customer and project records.

Support process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency activities.

Perform other administrative and operational tasks assigned by the team.

Practical experience in a leading global assurance and certification company.

Exposure to multinational clients and diverse industries.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's student in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, Engineering, Environmental Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous internship experience in customer service, project coordination, business operations, or commercial support is an advantage.

Familiarity with CRM systems, customer portals, or data management tools is preferred.

Interest in management system certification, quality, environment, occupational health & safety, information security, food safety, energy management, or related assurance services.
