Sales Trainee is a training role designed to prepare the Sales Trainee for the Account Sales Manager role. Upon successful participation in the training program, the ST is eligible to interview for open ASM roles. The ST role may remain in the ST role up to 12 months (with possible extension of up to 6 more months) if no ASM or other qualified role is available and if performance standards are met; the role is at-will. Responsibilities include business acumen, daily preparation, in-route and off-route support, and achieving KPI targets related to sales, distributions, pricing, displays, and merchandising.
