Our 18-month Trainee Program offers you hands-on experience in Sales and Business Development across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Through several assignments, including an international placement, you will gain valuable insights into our business and prepare for a long-term career within Hitachi Energy.

How you'll make an impact

Support the sales team during tendering and sales activities by preparing offers and analyzing customer requirements

Contribute to business development activities within the utility, industrial, and mobility sectors

Identify new business opportunities and support market and customer research

Assist in sales reporting, KPI tracking, and budget planning processes

Collaborate with local and international colleagues across functions and business units

Gain exposure to commercial, technical, and strategic topics in a dynamic environment

Your background

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field

Strong interest in Sales, Business Development, and technology-driven industries

Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

Fluent in German and English; French is a plus

Self-driven, eager to learn, and willing to work in an international environment

International mobility for assignments during the program
