Job Description

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Assist in the production of book of wiring, scheme plans, control tables, I/O bitmaps, block designs, etc.

Review and propose hardware components and maintain Bill of Materials

Produce design documentation including hardware system requirements

Ensure the hardware design and functional documents produced are issued and controlled in accordance with company processes

Analyze results from site testing activities and support problem solving for any relevant design errors or test failures.  This may include visiting the field (trackside, stations or trains).

Present and defend your technical solutions to your peers and possibly the customer

Requirements

Studying Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
