Summer Spatial Data R&D Intern at The Toro Company in Bloomington, MN. The 2027 internship runs May 17 to August 6. Responsibilities include developing tools to ingest, curate, model, and visualize spatial data; conducting customer site assessments using spatial data; literature reviews; collaborating with team and external partners; assisting in development, testing, maintenance, and operation of sensing systems for landscape applications. Requires undergraduate junior/senior or master's candidate in GIS, Computer or Data Science, or related field; proficiency with ArcGIS and/or QGIS and programmatic spatial data tools (e.g., GDAL, GeoPandas, Shapely, Leaflet); experience with MySQL, PHP, HTML, and JavaScript preferred.
