Unpaid internship under direct supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist. Evaluates, plans, and provides speech therapy services for pediatric and adult clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities; trains on home programs and/or assistive devices; documents in electronic health records; participates in supervision and coordination of care with an interdisciplinary team; meets productivity expectations. Must be enrolled in a Speech Language Pathology graduate program and have clinical experience from either school's clinic or prior externship. The internship may satisfy course credit if approved by the student's institution.
