Role focuses on development of robust process machine systems that provide competitive advantage to Corning’s businesses, enabling new products and product lines. Requires strong mechanical design, experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and simulations (finite element, computational fluid dynamics), and the ability to integrate robotics, material addition/removal, dispensing, and automation equipment into robust process manufacturing solutions. Collaboration with internal labs and external machine builders is expected.
