Internship in the R&D department to develop and operate digital tools for simulating thin-film stacks and to correlate simulation results with experimental measurements. The 6-month, full-time internship starts July 2026 at the Bienne site. Responsibilities include simulating thin-film stacks to reach target colors, developing/implementing algorithms accounting for surface roughness on optical response, analyzing influencing parameters, designing and conducting experimental tests to validate models, and writing a final internship report. Profil: Master's student in materials physics/optics or equivalent, with programming skills (Matlab, Python, C++), and knowledge of deposition processes (ALD, PVD, PECVD appreciated).
