Stage in the NMBS workshop in Mechelen (rolling stock) focused on long-term maintenance of train sets. Tasks include disassembly/assembly of mechanical components, inspecting wear, and ensuring correct parts dispatch and conformity. REM 2 tasks involve disassembly, cleaning, replacement of worn parts, reassembly, and testing of the functionality, with troubleshooting for faults. Requirements: diploma in progression toward a bachelor/technical degree or equivalent, Dutch language, minimum duration 4 weeks. Travel to/from the stage is free by train. Location near Mechelen station.
