Internship to develop, in Fortran, a module describing the entire thermosiphon system (suction line, heat exchanger, discharge line). The module should: estimate single-phase and two-phase pressure drops in the lines; establish the balance of pressure losses in the thermosiphon loop by coupling the different models; implement the algorithm enabling sequential numerical solution of the various models; validate the tool by comparison with commercial tools and with the current approach used at Alfa Laval Golbey.
