6-month internship in Belfort to implement a fast and reliable detection algorithm for a thyristor non-conduction fault in the excitation bridge of a synchronous machine. Responsibilities include studying the thyristor excitation bridge, implementing the detection algorithm in a global simulation (excitation bridge, excitation control, synchronous machine and grid), defining and applying a testing methodology, validating robustness and speed across scenarios including critical events, participating in industrial controller integration and real-time HIL validation, and documenting results in a validation report.
