As a Structural Engineer Intern, you will work under the direction of an assigned mentor to develop and implement project deliverables. The focus will be performing analysis of building materials for use in construction. The engineer designs load-bearing structures or structural elements, such as buildings, equipment supports and foundations. Performs structural analysis of new and existing structures for both gravity and lateral (wind and seismic) load conditions. Prepares structural calculations, reports and details of structural elements that conform to client, regulatory, and industry standards. Tasks will include utilizing computer aided drafting and a variety of engineering software.
