About this opportunity:
The Global Quality Intern position is ideal for a person interested in developing operation systems in a worldwide manufacturing organization. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to several key enabling functions in Global Quality organization. We are looking for a team player who possesses exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), is able to learn quickly, and is self-motivated.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Understanding of Google Applications
Critical thinking on how to leverage existing resources and technology to bring value to the business
Strong analytical skills to present data in an innovative way to business leaders
Time management and ability to prioritize and re-assess schedules and tasks quickly and effectively
Activities:
Create operation reports for global operations leaders.
Collaborate with Global Quality operations worldwide to achieve all objectives.
Participate in Global Quality programs deployment and support.
Participate in teleconferences, meetings with global counterparts.
Participate in volunteering activities within Celestica volunteer programs.
Create and update website content. Quality communications for the sites.
Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:
Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
Salary
The range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including but not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate.
The hourly wage is determined by the years of study completed and is non-negotiable as per company policy.
Hourly Wage: $23-30 CAD/hr

Education: Currently enrolled in a College or University internship program and have completed their 2nd or 3rd year of studies. The ideal candidate should be currently enrolled in a Business, Data Analytics, or Engineering major.
