Pay Rate: $14.00/hr - $19.00/hr

In a student employee capacity, may perform or assist with specialized business or operational functions that contribute to departmental goals and initiatives.

Job Description:

The Student Worker will support particular staff as assigned by:

Support the Program Director, Senior Research Associate, and internal and external project teams

Support the development and implementation of a rural grocery project

Assist with participant community identification, recruitment, and support

Support data collection

Organize and schedule meetings and events

Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission

Ability to comply with university policies

Maintain regular and punctual attendance

Ability to work independently with some supervision

Possess reliable transportation due to office located downtown

Serve as a participant in a pilot student development program, helping test and refine a new experiential learning model through active engagement, feedback, and participation in professional development opportunities focused on hunger relief and community impact.

Contribute to program evaluation and continuous improvement efforts by identifying challenges, testing processes, documenting lessons learned, and providing feedback to help shape and strengthen the student development program for future participants.

Perform business operations duties for assigned area of responsibility

Provide excellent customer service to clients

Ability to prioritize and take initiative

Assist with various projects, activities and tasks related to business operations

Ability to comply with University policies

Maintain regular and punctual attendance
