Job Details:

Purpose

Seeking a UT student to serve as front-line customer and student service representative for the Dean’s Office in the Mailroom in the College of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Provide coverage to the Mail Room.

Help receive, sort, and deliver daily mail and packages to college faculty and staff.

Assist in scanning / receiving reports and creating receipts for packages.

Maintain stock of paper, envelopes, and other supplies for the Dean’s Office

Assist with financial transactions.

Complete projects related to data entry and analysis.

Assist with other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience in a customer service setting

Experience working in a college setting

Experience handling sensitive, confidential information

Experience with multitasking

Detail oriented and uses organization tools

Professional demeanor

Ability to lift 50 or more pounds regularly, move furniture regularly

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrate personal accountability, ability to learn from mistakes, and effective work habits, e.g., punctuality, communication, productivity, multitasking, etc.

Salary Range $10 - $15 / hour, depending on qualifications and experience

Working Conditions

Office environment with regular use of computer and keyboard

Work Shift Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays 11:00am - 2:00pm, possibly until 4:00pm at times
