Where people get better at life!

Join us in our mission to make a difference and shape a more inclusive future.

The Center for Disability Services offers hope, innovation, and achievement to the people we support. For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.

We are searching for a Sub Driver Trainees to join our team!

This is a paid training program to assist those looking to obtain a Commercial Driver's License! Come work with our certified team to get your CDL - we will help prepare you for the written test to obtain a permit and provide you with the tools and resources for your road test to turn that permit into a license.

During the training period, we offer flexible scheduling for Monday through Friday, working between 20 and 25 hours per week - no weekends or major holidays! Once you have a valid CDL, you can move up to a full time Driver, which now offers newly enhanced rates, quarterly incentives and bonus programs, and uniforms.

This position provides assistance to transport individuals with developmental disabilities by operating safely and courteously, various types of vans and buses through heavy or light city and highway traffic, in all conditions and following all rules and regulations.
