Summer 2027 Internship: Internal Data Center Infrastructure Projects in Irving, TX. Intern will be immersed in end-to-end data center project execution lifecycle from planning and layout design to installation and testing of mechanical and electrical equipment (e.g., towers, chillers, mechanical systems, UPS, switchgear, generators, static transfer switches, electrical systems). Responsibilities include creating and following up on RFPs, organizing notes from project management meetings, tracking budgets and reporting findings, assisting on-site with investigations and vendor meetings, performing safety evaluations, and reporting milestones and meeting minutes. Basic qualifications include actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; strong verbal and written communication; critical thinking and problem-solving; and US citizenship. Preferred qualifications include current full-time enrollment at partner institutions or Blackstone Launchpad affiliate schools, prior internship/co-op experience in construction/finance/technology/HR/facilities engineering, and involvement in community activities.
