12-week Summer Associate Internship in Fraud Data Governance at Navy Federal Credit Union, located in Vienna, VA. May 2027–August 2027. Responsibilities include metadata management, data quality, profiling, and system analysis for large-scale fraud datasets, with exposure to cloud technologies and Databricks, Spark, and data governance tools. Projects may involve enabling AI/ML data readiness, collaborating with Data Analysts/Engineers/Scientists and business stakeholders, and advancing the AI Governance framework. Requirements include pursuing a master's degree in a related field with anticipated graduation December 2027 or later; proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, Java; familiarity with relational databases, data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT; cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP); and knowledge of Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Hadoop is a plus. Hours Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; Location: Vienna, VA.
