JOB DESCRIPTION
Opportunity: This is a unique opportunity for a strategic, curious and business-minded student to contribute to TD Insurance’s Private Client Advice business, supporting growth initiatives within the high-net-worth segment. The successful candidate will gain exposure to market strategy, luxury partnerships, client experience design, event activation and senior stakeholder collaboration while helping shape how TD Insurance engages affluent clients and centres of influence.
Responsibilities: In this role, you will help turn research and insights into practical growth opportunities by supporting market analysis, competitive intelligence, go-to-market partnership strategy, curated experiences, sponsorships and value-added client engagement initiatives.
Conduct strategic assessments, market sizing analyses and pipeline opportunity reviews across high-potential luxury partnership categories, including advisory professionals such as private lenders and accountants, as well as affluent communities and luxury brands.
Support the development of a concierge-style program by assessing pipeline opportunities among luxury specialists, including designers, architects, movers, art specialists, appraisers and automotive service providers such as detailing and storage.
Monitor market data, competitor activity and partner-category trends to identify emerging opportunities, strategic insights and potential areas for business growth.
Learn to use research tools, datasets and structured criteria to collect, interpret and translate information into clear recommendations on potential partners and client segments.
Support the planning and activation of curated events, sponsorships and experiential initiatives designed to build relationships with high-value audiences.
Collaborate with team members on marketing and business-development initiatives that explore customer acquisition, retention and loyalty through differentiated, value-added experiences.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, masters or MBA degree in Business/Commerce, Marketing, or related field
Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term

This position is a 4-month work term and will commence Jan 4, 2027 – Apr 23, 2027
