Teaching Lab Assistant - Surgical Technology

The Teaching Lab Assistant assists professional faculty with teaching duties in the classroom, laboratory, computer laboratory, or facility as directed, and may serve as instructor of record under direct supervision. Responsibilities include supporting student learning through tutoring and reinforcing content, guiding hands-on lab and shop activities, preparing instructional spaces and equipment, assisting with assessment and record management, maintaining and testing equipment, developing instructional materials, managing supplies, inventory, and safety monitoring, and supervising student workers. Collaboration with faculty and staff to ensure readiness of supplies, safety, and effective delivery of course content is essential.
