The Neurobiology of Fear Laboratory at McLean Hospital (Belmont, MA) seeks a research assistant to aid in studies of molecular mechanisms underlying psychiatric disorders (e.g., Major Depression, PTSD). The RA will assist with data collection, patient-related activities as per study protocols, and will take a role in mouse husbandry and colony maintenance, running rodent behavioral tests, and contributing to DNA/RNA work, qPCR, RNA-Scope, RNA-seq, and protein work in projects related to molecular, cellular, and circuit mechanisms of psychiatric disorders.
