Thesis Internship Utilities - Strategy & Consulting – Balanceren van warmte en elektriciteit: de rol van hybride warmtesystemen bij het verminderen van netcongestie

Thesis internship with Accenture Strategy & Consulting Utilities Netherlands focusing on the role of hybrid heat systems in balancing electricity demand and reducing grid congestion. You will analyze how high- and low-temperature heat sources and thermal storage can supply flexibility, evaluate technological, economic and organizational feasibility, and formulate recommendations for grid operators, heat companies, energy producers and end users. The project uses literature reviews, expert interviews, policy analysis, data analysis and/or modeling. Amsterdam-based for ~6 months with potential extension, supervised by experienced colleagues; stipend provided, laptop, travel reimbursement, and access to a large intern community.
