Internship in Transmission and Substation Standards at Xcel Energy. Responsibilities include supporting standards projects as an entry-level engineering analyst, spanning scope creation, knowledge transfer from subject matter experts, project management, and document preparation, plus process review and maintenance. The position is based in Minneapolis, MN with team locations in Denver, CO and Eau Claire, WI. Start date May 24, 2027; may extend beyond the internship term. Minimum requirements: current student (sophomore or higher) enrolled in an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering program; able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours/week) or part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours/week) and commute to the designated location per the hybrid policy. Starting base pay: $21.20-$24.60 per hour. Benefits include Pension, 401(k), PTO, Holidays.
