US Medical Affairs Doctoral and PharmD Intern, GI Oncology

Location: US - Gaithersburg - MD

We are looking for PhD and PharmD students studying life sciences and/or pharmaceutical sciences for a 12-week internship role at our site in Gaithersburg, MD from May 24, 2027 to August 13, 2027.

Position Description

Analyze and synthesize medical insights from multiple sources to inform medical strategy and tactics

Develop external-facing scientific materials to support ongoing medical education efforts

Explore internal technologies to enhance medical affairs efficiency and impact within the USMA- Oncology GI team

Position Requirements

PhD and PharmD students studying life sciences and/or pharmaceuticals.

Strong scientific background is required

Analytical and presentation skills are preferred

Prior oncology research experience is a plus

Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.

Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2027.

US Work Authorization is required at time of application.

This role will not be granting OPT support.

Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD site 3 days per week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.

Compensation range: $48 per hour.
