Paid summer internship for Civil or Geotechnical Engineering students at OceanaGold's Waihi operation, working with the Tailings Storage Facility team from mid-November to mid-February (dependent on exam timetable). On-site at Waihi, NZ, hours 6:30am–4:00pm, 40.5 hrs/week on a 9-day fortnight roster (5 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off). Responsibilities include contributing to TSF monitoring dashboards and documentation, dam safety inspections, soil testing, QA/QC, and related TSF activities with mentorship from experienced professionals.
