Summer 2026 Walk-In Services Casework Intern in Silver Spring, MD. In-person internship with the IRC Walk-In Casework team. Responsibilities include assisting with new client orientation, submitting and following up on referrals, conducting follow-up calls, procuring required documentation, researching community resources, coordinating on-site trainings, and maintaining electronic data entry for client records. Learning objectives include gaining experience in non-profit service provision, navigating community resources, and building resources for limited English proficiency clients. The internship is unpaid, with possible per diem reimbursement ($15/day). Minimum commitment of 30 hours per week; three-month duration; in-person at the Silver Spring office with orientation on June 1, 2026.
