Wellness Counselor Intern based in San Jose, CA; provide direct mental health services to general education students, consult with school leaders and teachers regarding trauma, mental health, behavior, and community resources; serve 1-2 school sites which may include San Jose, Redwood City, Concord, or Antioch; partner closely with school psychologists, behavior intervention specialists, special education case managers, school leaders, general education teachers and program specialists to provide direct mental health services and ongoing coaching of strategies; may be involved in crisis-level support and creation of safety plans, as well as parent training/workshops.
