Job Description

David Yurman Summer 2027 Internship

The David Yurman Internship Program in New York City is a paid 9-week immersive experience designed for students and emerging professionals passionate about the luxury jewelry industry. This exclusive program offers interns the opportunity to work closely with expert teams across various departments. Interns will gain hands-on experience in crafting exquisite jewelry, understanding the intricacies of luxury branding, and learning the operational aspects of a world-renowned brand. Set in the heart of NYC, interns will also have access to networking events, mentorship, and industry insights that foster professional growth in the competitive luxury market.

Overview

David Yurman is seeking a Wholesale Sales Support Intern to assist the Sales Support Team with daily operations, customer service, and administrative responsibilities. This role is primarily focused on supporting customer-facing sales activities and ensuring a high level of service, rather than traditional wholesale merchandising or account management functions.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a customer service mindset, and a collaborative approach.

What You Will Do

Support the Sales Support Team with daily customer service and sales-related activities

Assist with customer inquiries and provide administrative support to ensure a seamless customer experience

Compile data, maintain records, and assist with reporting and analysis

Prepare documents and materials for team meetings

Assist with project execution and ongoing team initiatives

Collaborate with internal teams to support day-to-day operations

Qualifications

Interest in luxury jewelry and the wholesale business

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Customer service mindset with an interest in customer-facing responsibilities

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Education

Must be currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field with a 3.0 overall GPA minimum

Business / Fashion Merchandising related

Work location

New York, NY – 5 days in office
