Youth Intern for the IRC Newcomer Youth Summer Academy (Summer 2026). Five-week program for newcomer youth ages 12–21; interns assist with planning and implementing the academy, including student recruitment, volunteer recruitment/training, curriculum development, teaching, monitoring/evaluation, public relations, and community partnerships. The academy will be held offsite in Prince George’s County. Requires access to a personal vehicle; available to work at least 30 hours per week from June 9 to ~August 22. In-person at the Silver Spring, MD office and local field service area; minimum commitment of 24 hours per week with three full-time days. Orientation on June 1, 2026. Unpaid internship with potential per diem reimbursement at $15/day; candidates enrolled outside of 12 months from graduation may be processed as volunteers.
