6-month Co-op in Dickinson, ND for civil engineering and construction materials testing. Performs onsite materials testing (soils, concrete, masonry, asphalt) on commercial and transportation projects. Paid opportunity. Hourly rate $20-$24. Commitment: mid-May to November/December or January to July in some locations. Must lift 75+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather; may require overtime/weekends. Training includes construction safety, soil compaction/classification, ACI certification, radiation safety, materials lab and nuclear density gauge training; mentorship from a professional engineer; exposure to ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC, and DOT standards.
