Our 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, in addition to engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our offices. This 10-week internship provides you with realistic experiences and information of what it is like to work at Guardian.
Internship Dates:
The internship program will run from Thursday, May 27, 2027- Friday, August 6, 2027.

You are:
A current junior (graduation date of May 2028) who is fueled by collaboration, able to listen and make quick decisions and thrive in a goal-oriented environment.

You have:
Required Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
The ability to analyze information, identify patterns, gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
An interest in HR technology, knowledge management, process improvement, and AI-enabled employee support tools
The ability to create clear, user-friendly documentation that simplifies complex processes
Preferred Qualifications
Coursework or experience in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Technology, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field
Familiarity with Workday, HR systems, case management tools, knowledge repositories, or employee self-service platforms
Experience creating process maps, job aids, workflow diagrams, SOPs, templates, or reference materials
Exposure to AI-powered tools, digital assistants, chatbots, automation, or testing scenarios
Interest in knowledge taxonomy, metadata, search optimization, content categorization, or AI-enabled knowledge solutions
You will:
Review and assess existing HR policies, SOPs, process documentation, work instructions, and knowledge articles
Analyze content maintained across various repositories including NeoCase and Inside Guardian
Standardize document formats, templates, naming conventions, and content structures
Identify outdated, duplicative, or inconsistent documentation and recommend improvements
Create clear, user-friendly process documentation that simplifies complex HR and Workday transactions
Develop process maps, job aids, workflow diagrams, and reference materials to support agentic capabilities and improve overall HR knowledge repository
Test and evaluate AI-powered agents and digital assistants supporting employee inquiries within Workday
Assess agent responses for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and policy compliance
Execute testing scenarios across key employee lifecycle transactions and HR support topics
Identify knowledge gaps, response failures, and opportunities to improve agent effectiveness
Document findings and provide recommendations to enhance AI response quality and user experience
Support the development of metrics, scorecards, and testing frameworks used to monitor agent performance
Organize and prepare documentation for future migration into Workday knowledge repositories and AI-enabled solutions
Map policies, SOPs, and process documentation to corresponding Workday business processes and employee lifecycle activities
Support the design of knowledge taxonomies, metadata, search structures, and content categorization standards

Eligibility:
Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship are not available for this position.

Salary Range:
$20.00 - $35.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
