PROGRAMME OVERVIEW This is an in-person internship based in Dublin, Ireland, commencing in January 2027 for a period of 6 to 9 months. You will work within the technology team as a Software Engineer for the duration of the internship and will attend an orientation providing an overview of KKR and alternative investments. You will contribute to real projects, attend educational and network-building programming, and have the opportunity to showcase your work to technology leaders. Interns are encouraged to leverage KKR's AI tools to accelerate their work, deepen their learning, and contribute fresh perspectives on how emerging technology can enhance the way we operate. Full-time offers may be extended in alignment with exceptional performance, subject to business headcount needs.

THE OPPORTUNITY As part of our continued investment in Ireland, KKR is launching a Technology & Engineering Centre of Excellence in Dublin. This new hub will play a central role in building the world’s first technology platform engineered to manage over one trillion dollars in alternative AUM (assets under management.) Designed from the ground up for scale, security and speed, this is the infrastructure for the future of global finance. Areas of focus include investment technology, portfolio construction and management, liquidity solutions, risk analytics, and advanced data platforms

TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING — AI, Data, and Platform Technologies (ADAPT) ADAPT is the foundation of KKR Technology, bringing together its technology pillars — spanning AI and Applied AI, Data and Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, Technology Experience, and Program Management — to accelerate modernisation, automation, and insight. CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS

Currently attending a university in Ireland, the UK, or continental Europe with an outstanding academic record, and available for a 6–9 month placement starting January 2027

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical field (typically undertaking a placement/internship year or a work-integrated master's)

Eligible to work in Ireland on a full-time basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and communicating ideas

Proficiency with Java, Python, C/C++

Curiosity about and openness to adopting emerging AI technologies in day-to-day workflows

Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and relevance

Familiarity with effective prompt design and generating reliable results using generative AI tools

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to act both strategically and tactically with exceptional attention to detail

Outstanding time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines

Team-player who enjoys working in a collaborative and collegial environment and is willing to pitch in when needed

Intellectual curiosity and an interest in financial services and alternative investments
