Advanced Practitioner Fellowship Program in Neuroscience

The Geisinger Neuroscience Institute is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our Neuroscience Advanced Practice Fellowship Program. The AP Fellow will spend 12 months in neuroscience completing rotations in Neurodiagnostics, General Neurology, Epilepsy, Neuromuscular, Consultative Neurology, Stroke, Vascular Neurosurgery, Spine Surgery, Neurosurgical Oncology, Neurotrauma, Neuro-Critical Care, and an elective in a concentration area of the resident’s choice. The AP Fellow will have a combined clinical and didactic curriculum throughout the full 12 months. Position requires completion of an ARC-PA approved PA program and NCCPA certification and PA license in PA; NP candidates must complete an approved NP program and hold national certification that allows the NP to work with the patient populations and location settings associated with this position. Must be licensed as a nurse practitioner in the state of PA.
