Paid internship (summer full-time with potential to extend into Fall/Spring part time) in Gerdau's G.Start program. Intern will manage day-to-day administration for continuous improvement software platforms, partner with operations teams to identify opportunities for improvement, and apply Lean and Six Sigma tools (5S, root cause analysis, standard work, process mapping, visual management) to streamline operations and reduce waste in steel manufacturing. Opportunities to learn include Microsoft Suite, CAPEX, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
