Our Recruitment Process

After you have submitted your application, selected candidates will be asked to complete a self-service video interview.

After we have carefully reviewed all the video interviews, those who successfully meet our hiring criteria will be invited to an interview with our hiring team.

During or prior to the interview, there will be an additional case-study task for applicants to complete. Why? This not only allows us to see what you can do but also enables you to get a taste of what your day-day work will entail.

After the interviews have concluded, we’ll move to the offer stage, and before you know it, you’ll be here at Sony!

Throughout the recruitment process until your start date, you’ll have regular connections with our HR & Sony Placement Year programme team, as well as our current interns to answer any questions and provide guidance and further information on your Sony journey. This will also allow you to connect with the other future interns who will form the 2027 Sony cohort and start building your network. If you will need to relocate, this is also a great opportunity to find others in the same situation.
