Job Description:

June 7, 2027 – August 13, 2027

Pay rate is $30/hour for graduate student (Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later)

Full-time; 37.5 hours per week

ABA’s Internship provides students with a paid opportunity to work with one of the biggest trade associations in Washington, DC. This extremely selective opportunity provides students with the opportunity to do substantial work in various divisions across ABA, connect with leadership, build a network, and make a difference.

Primary Responsibilities

Research, analyze, and communicate potential risks associated with emerging technologies leveraged by the financial services sector (e.g. AI, quantum computing, cloud computing).

Assist in the development of surveys.

Compile and summarize key findings of surveys.

Contribute to the development of comment letters, congressional testimony, and articles.

Assist in updating presentations.

Required Skills

Excellent analytical and communication skills (written and oral).

Knowledge of the financial sector and regulatory requirements.

Desire to learn about emerging technology and its impact on cybersecurity and operational resilience.

Minimum Education Requirements

Graduate Student (expected graduation date of December 2027 or later)

Preferred Field of Study

Liberal Arts, History, Economics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity

Salary Band Range:

$15.00 - $37.50 - $60.00
