Job Summary

Expand Energy Corporation is interviewing for summer of 2027 internship positions in our IT Department. Qualified candidates will be working toward a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technologies, Cybersecurity, or similar program.  Successful candidates will work in a dynamic environment and complete entry-level tasks such as report writing, software development, data analysis, platform administration, and endpoint management.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Assist team members in all areas of IT (development, security, asset management, operations, and more)

Collaborate with IT team members

Maintain knowledge of available technologies

Develop and manage effective working relationships with other groups

Job Specific Skills

Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Strong initiative and solid judgment skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects to meet established deadlines

Demonstrated ability with scripting or programming languages such as SQL, Python, JavaScript, or other object-oriented languages; able to learn company-specific applications

Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts

Ability to formulate and communicate new cost-effective concepts or ideas to leadership

Education

Minimum: Pursing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or similar degree program (undergraduate)

Minimum: Other - Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale

Preferred: Current Sophomore or Junior
