Intern, Supply Chain

We are just an hour from Branson, the world's live music capital. Springfield offers a wide variety of outdoor and cultural activities, world-class museums, hiking trails, and don't forget the Lake of the Ozarks, Our interns start in May and work through August. You can expect 40 hours per week plus lots of fun. There is something for everyone as a summer intern at Snyder.
Essential Functions:
Analyze and Identify Improvement Opportunites in the Buyer/Planner transactional activity.
Coordinate with Supply Chain Manager to create reporting tools and charts to trend demand.
Turn and Inventory Control performance
Analyze Materials Storage Areas in Warehouse and on Production Floor for identification of reduction of IWD and resolution of back flushing issues.
Required Skills:
Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Must be a proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Good organizational and communication skills
Resourceful - not intimidated by large assignments
Ability to work in a fast paced, professional enviornment and multi-task.
Must be self-motiviated and enthusiastic and have strong people skills
Required Experience:
Education: Business, Supply Chain or Manufacturing majors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
General
Hours: 40 hours/week
Location: Springfield, MO
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $25.00/ hr, depending on academic class
